Here are the route notes / cue sheet for this map:
- 0.0 mi — Start and finish are front of the southern most entrance to the Trent Hall parking lot on Flowers Dr.
- 0.6 mi — Turn left into the traffic circle and take the first road on the left (Campus Drive).
- 0.94 mi — Continue past Alexander Avenue.
- 1.08 mi — Turn left onto Oregon Street.
- 1.23 mi — Turn left onto Bynum Street. Note that the street is one lane wide and poorly paved. Looks more like a gravel driveway.
- 1.3 mi — Turn left onto Alexander Avenue.
- 1.44 mi — Turn right onto Campus Drive. Note that there may be a lot of runner traffic heading in both directions on this street. Runners should run in the right hand lane in each direction. Please be courteous.
- 1.76 mi — Continue west on Campus Drive. Turn right into the traffic circle, run past Flowers Drive and turn right onto Chapel Drive.
- 1.97 mi — Head towards Duke Chapel. Turn left at the bus stop loop. Do not continue straight to the steps of the chapel.
- 2.18 mi — Continue counter clock wise around the bus stop loop.
- 2.28 mi — Head back down Chapel Drive. Turn right into the traffic circle and make an immediate right onto Campus Drive.
- 2.6 mi — Head through the tunnel that runs under Chapel Drive.
- 2.65 mi — Merge back onto Flowers Drive and head back to the finish line.
- 3.13 mi — Start and finish are front of the southern most entrance to the Trent Hall parking lot on Flowers Dr.
